Josef Bruers

Josef Bruers is a professor at ACTA (Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam) since 2014, where they focus on practice-based research in dental care, specifically related to the quality of oral healthcare. Previously, Josef served as a socio-scientific researcher at the Psychiatrisch Ziekenhuis Wolfheze from 1984 to 1986, and at the Nederlandse Maatschappij tot bevordering der Tandheelkunde (NMT) from 1986 to 2001. Currently, they also hold the position of research coordinator at NMT, overseeing the 'Project Peilstations,' which gathers information on dentists’ practices and perspectives. Josef earned a degree in Sociology from Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, following completion of their studies at Jacob Roelandslyceum.
