Stephen German

Stephen German has extensive experience in product management and leadership roles. Stephen is currently working as the Senior Director - Functional Product at Actabl since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Management at Actabl from March 2021 to July 2022. Before joining Actabl, Stephen worked at Tech Data as the Sr. IT Product Manager for the Next Gen Ecommerce project from December 2019 to March 2021. Stephen played a crucial role in modernizing communication methods with vendors, resulting in significant vendor buy-in. Stephen also worked at Community Brands, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Product Management - Learning from September to December 2019, Learning Product Manager from October 2018 to September 2019, Product Manager from October 2015 to September 2019, and Product Owner and Manager from April 2017 to October 2018. At Community Brands, they successfully managed product roadmaps, conducted market research, and addressed complex client needs. Additionally, Stephen worked at Digital Ignite as a Junior Project Manager from May 2012 to December 2014.

Stephen German holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics and Communications from Wheaton College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified Product Manager from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management, completing the Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing certification from 280 Group, earning the Behavior-Driven Development certification from LinkedIn, becoming a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, and completing the Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management certification from Coursera Verified Certificates.
