Chris Schober currently serves as the Staff Engineer at Actalent since 2022 and holds the position of IEEE Division V Director for 2024-2025. Previously, Chris was the Past President of the IEEE Sensor Council and served in various leadership roles within IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society, contributing significantly to the field over the years. With a career spanning from 1980 to 2020 at Honeywell, Chris concluded their tenure with 17 patents and wide recognition in the sensor community. Chris is also pursuing a Professional Masters of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
