Jacob Berning

Jacob Berning has extensive experience in the engineering and business development sectors, currently serving as the Practice Lead for Electronics at Actalent since May 2015. In this role, Jacob is responsible for leading the Business Development team in Indiana's Electronics Engineering division, focusing on project and contract engineering support across various specialties, including Embedded and Applications Engineering. Prior to this, Jacob held the position of Senior Account Manager at Actalent, specializing in contingent recruiting and outsourced engineering services for the Aerospace/DoD and Medical Device industries. Jacob's earlier experience includes roles as Account Manager at Aerotek, where responsibilities encompassed business development and client relationship management in Engineering and Embedded Systems. Jacob's career began as a Personal Stylist at Nordstrom, where successful relationship building and sales techniques were honed. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Purdue University and was recognized as a Pacesetter and Customer Service All-Star during tenure at Nordstrom.
