Michael Gass

Michael Gass is an experienced recruitment and diversity leader currently serving as the Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair at Actalent since May 2018, where responsibilities include leading the PRIDE Employee Resource Group to enhance growth opportunities for the 2SSLGBTQIA+ community. In addition to this role, Michael manages a team of five recruiters across Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal while also handling personal recruitment and account management. Previous positions at Actalent include several roles within account recruiting management and technical recruiting. In the tourism sector, Michael has worked as a tour guide for Ottawa Free Tours and The Harbour Hippo, showcasing knowledge of history and local attractions. Earlier experience includes serving as a Recruitment Officer at Carleton University, engaging with high school students across Canada, and working in various capacities at the university related to student engagement and campus tours. Michael holds a Bachelor of International Business from Carleton University, completed in 2017.
