Fikre Zerfu Takele

Fikre Zerfu Takele is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental science and project management. Currently serving as the Country Field Manager at ACTED since September 2021, Fikre supports data collection initiatives and ensures the quality of data gathering by coordinating training and addressing challenges promptly. Previously, Fikre held the position of Executive Director at the Pastoralist Welfare Organization, managing national and international relations, and oversaw compliance with organizational regulations. Fikre has also served as a lecturer at Jigjiga University and has held project coordination roles with UNEP and UNDP, focusing on climate change adaptation. Fikre's educational credentials include a Master's degree from Addis Ababa University and ongoing PhD studies in Environmental Science at the University of South Africa.
