Michelle Paim has a diverse background in international relations and humanitarian action, with extensive experience in various roles. Michelle began as an International Relations Intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Brazil and subsequently worked as a Protection Assistant at the Institute of Migration and Human Rights. At the Norwegian Refugee Council, Michelle served as an Institutional Partnership and Policy Trainee and has held multiple project development positions at ACTED, including Senior Project Development Officer for Iraq and Project Development Manager for regions like Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Colombia, and Venezuela. Currently, Michelle is the Consortium Coordinator at ACTED, continuing a strong commitment to humanitarian efforts. Academically, Michelle holds a Master's degree in International Humanitarian Action from Ruhr University Bochum and University of Deusto, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Centro Universitário de Brasília.
