Mona Nabil Demaidi

Mona Nabil Demaidi, PhD, currently serves as the Director of International Relations and Dean of the Faculty of Digital Sciences at the Arab American University. Mona is involved in several prominent organizations, including UNESCO as part of the Women for Ethical Artificial Intelligence initiative, aimed at promoting gender equality in AI. As Chairwoman of the Intersect Innovation Hub and the IEEE Palestine Subsection, along with advisory roles in various organizations such as Partners for Sustainable Development and ACTED, Mona demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable development and technology. Additionally, contributions to the Hult Prize Foundation and STEMpire Palestine reflect a dedication to education and innovation. Academically, Mona holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester, alongside an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering and a BSc in Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University.
