Robert Simpson

Robert Simpson is a seasoned professional in human resources and program management, currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Acted since August 2014, where responsibilities include leading a people and culture agenda for 8,000 employees across 43 countries. Previously, Robert held multiple leadership roles as Country Director across various regions, managing teams of national and international staff and implementing substantial annual programming budgets ranging from 15 million to over 40 million USD. Contributions also include chairing significant forums and committees, and developing critical organizational training programs and resources. Robert’s extensive international experience spans across nonprofit, academic, and governmental sectors in numerous countries, complemented by advanced degrees in law, humanitarian studies, and human resource management.
