Sofia Vigetti

Sofia Vigetti is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in humanitarian affairs, safeguarding, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Safeguarding and Protection Officer at Acted since September 2023, Sofia previously held multiple roles at Médecins Sans Frontières, including Humanitarian Affairs Intern, where significant contributions were made to advocacy strategies for migrant health services and event management. Additional experience includes an internship at UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning focusing on recognition of prior learning for migrants and refugees, and a position at the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society involving coordination of speakers and event logistics. As the founder and vice-president of GROW, a cultural association, Sofia actively promoted cultural integration and social debates. Sofia's academic background includes a Master's degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in Social, Political and International Sciences from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
