Michael Murphy has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in October 1999 and worked there until December 2000. Following that, they joined UC Santa Barbara as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in January 2001 and completed their role in December of the same year. Since August 2002, they have been associated with Actica Consulting, initially as a Director and later as the Managing Director from July 2016 onwards.
Michael Murphy attended the University of Oxford from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained their MA degree in Chemistry. Michael then pursued further education at the University of Liverpool from 1993 to 1997, earning their Phd in surface science.
