Thorsten Mertsching

Thorsten Mertsching has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thorsten is currently working as the Head of Presales EMEA at ACTICO since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pegasystems as the Director of Sales Consulting DACH from November 2020 to April 2022. At IPsoft | Amelia - The World's Most Human AI, they held the role of Head of Tech Sales & Business Value, Central Europe from June 2018 to October 2020. From April 2014 to May 2018, Thorsten worked at Salesforce as the Senior Director of Customer Strategy & Innovation, and prior to that, as the Director of Sales Consulting Architects - EMEA Central. Before Salesforce, they held leadership positions at Zilliant, Oracle Deutschland GmbH (former Siebel Systems), Actuate (Deutschland) GmbH, Informatica, Kana Software, and Cognos (acquired by IBM). Thorsten has a strong background in sales, technology, and customer strategy, with expertise in areas such as AI, analytics, and digital transformation.

Thorsten Mertsching attended Cooperative State University Mannheim from 1992 to 1995, where they earned their Dipl.-Betriebswirt/ B.Sc. degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik / Business Computer Science.
