Jacob Burwell

Jacob Burwell has a wealth of experience in the corporate world. Jacob began their career in 2003 as a Summer Associate Consultant for Marakon Associates. In 2005, they joined Actify, Inc. as their CFO, where they were a key member of the senior management team. Theirrole involved formulating company strategy, and they were directly responsible for the implementation of strategic business resourcing plans to execute the company vision. Jacob managed the finance/accounting, human resources, and IT departments, as well as regularly reporting financial results to the Board of Directors, treasury, audit, tax, equity administration, internal controls, design and implementation of internal software applications, and oversight of SOC/ISO/GDPR compliance programs.

Jacob Burwell attended the American School in London from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their High School degree. Jacob then attended UC Santa Barbara from 1999 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Economics.
