Omar Abbasi

Omar Abbasi is a seasoned consultant specializing in Tableau and Alteryx, currently working at Action since April 2020, with experience supporting Apple teams such as AMP, ESCI, PPL BPR, and WPE. In addition to consulting, Omar serves as an Adjunct Professor at Emmanuel College in Boston and as a Visiting Instructor for Tableau workshops at the Maryland Institute College of Art and ESSEC Business School. Since co-founding 3Di Athletics in March 2012, Omar has led operations and coached basketball. Previous roles include Head Men’s Frosh Basketball Coach at Miramonte High School, Data Visualization Consultant at Slalom, Finance Analyst at Apple, Analytics Consultant at Tableau Software, and Data Analyst at REI Systems. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Data Analytics and Visualization from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a degree in Financial Economics and Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
