Jennifer Herron

Jennifer Herron is the founder and CEO of Action Engineering. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on robotics and mechanical design.

Jennifer started their career as a Mechanism Designer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, where they worked on designing, assembling, and testing engineering models and flight hardware for NASA Discovery missions. Jennifer then transitioned to working as a Design & Systems Mechanical Engineer and System Design Architect at the same company, where they were responsible forMission Success Engineer structures design. In 2003, Jennifer left Lockheed Martin to work as a Robotics Engineer at SAIC, where they were responsible for proposal, conceptual, and practical design implementation of unmanned ground vehicles. Jennifer also served as Program Manager and Hardware Lead during their time there.

In 2008, Jennifer founded Action Engineering with the goal of providing innovative engineering solutions to challenging problems. The company has since grown to become a leading provider of engineering services, with a team of over 50 engineers across multiple disciplines.

Some direct reports include Michelle Nordwald - COO, Rhiannon Gallagher - Chief Business Psychologist, and Heather Beckman - Head OSCAR Wrangler & IT Specialist.
