Simon Murrison

Simon Murrison is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Committee Member for Action for Children's Scotland National Advisory Committee and as a Director at ammu chartered accountants since May 2020. Previously, Simon established a successful track record as Project Manager for the 5x50 Challenge, a worldwide initiative promoting health through physical activity, and held directorial positions at Murrison & Wilson Limited and Gilliland & Company, contributing to their growth and client development. Simon's career began after completing a CA training contract with Scott Oswald, followed by roles at HLB Kidsons, and culminated in partnerships with Baker Tilly and Gilchrist & Company before their merger. Academic achievements include a CA degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and a BA in Accountancy & Finance from Heriot-Watt University.
