Action pact, Inc. is a forward-thinking nonprofit Community Action Agency dedicated to fighting poverty and building opportunity across South Georgia. Rooted in the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, we are part of a national network of 1,000+ agencies serving 96% of U.S. counties with one unified mission: helping people, changing lives.
Our mission is BIG—prioritizing progress over programs and creating equal opportunity for all. Today, action pact proudly serves 40+ counties with services that support children, families, seniors, veterans, and underserved individuals. We believe stronger communities are built when neighbors have the tools to support their families, boost their education, and make a meaningful impact.

Our Services
•	Community Care Services Program (CCSP): Helps eligible adults remain in their homes with a coordinated network of health and stability supports.
•	Community Services Program: Wraparound support to guide families from crisis to stability through personalized case management.
•	Energy Assistance (LIHEAP): One-time utility assistance to ease heating and cooling costs for qualifying households.
•	Senior Programs: Congregate and Home-Delivered Meals provide nutrition, connection, wellness checks, and support for adults 60+.
•	Early Childhood Education: Head Start, Early Head Start, and Pre-K programs foster school readiness and lifelong success for children and families.
•	Educational Talent Search (ETS): A TRIO initiative motivating first-generation and low-income students to pursue higher education.
•	Ready2CONNECT: Workforce development and family empowerment to help individuals gain financial stability and independence.
•	CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates): Volunteers advocate for the best interests of children in foster care, ensuring safety, stability, and hope.
•	Weatherization: Energy-efficiency and safety upgrades that reduce costs and create healthier homes.
