Deborah Brash

Deborah Brash has a career spanning over 30 years in the design, legal, and technology industries. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Special Initiatives for Actionstep. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as an independent consultant for DBC Partners, providing demonstrations of Actionstep, assistance with practice transition into the Actionstep system, custom design services in Actionstep, data imports, workflow design, staff training, and creating document automation templates in Hot Docs and Actionstep. From 2008 to 2015, Deborah worked as the Director of Development for Sykes Elder Law, where they moved the practice to a cloud-based document management system and implemented and trained staff. From 1989 to 2008, Deborah was a Sole Proprietor in Graphic Design, creating books, brochures, magazines, newsletters, direct mail, presentations, newspapers, and manuals using the high-end technology at the time. A few notable clients and project types included NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Deborah Brash attended Randolph-Macon College from 1979 to 1981, studying English. Deborah then attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a BFA in Communication Arts. In July 2015, they became an Actionstep Certified Consultant.
