Mark Van der werff

Mark Van der werff has over 18 years of professional experience. Mark began their career in 2001 as a Systems Engineer at Atlantis Group Limited, where they were responsible for the design and day-to-day maintenance of the Wide Area Network, as well as user support and training. Mark then moved to Enterprise Solutions Group in 2002, where they provided on-site and telephone support of clients, as well as installation and configuration of communications equipment. In 2005, they joined Visible Results (now a Global Red company) as a Senior System Engineer, where they were responsible for installation and maintenance of new and existing physical infrastructure, design and creation of new Virtual infrastructure in the Amazon Cloud, P2V migration from Datacenter to Cloud, and creation of system monitoring tools for monitoring core applications in the Cloud, as well as some desktop support. In 2014, they joined Atlantis Healthcare as a Senior System Engineer, and currently they are a Dev Ops Engineer at Actionstep since 2017.

Mark Van der werff began their educational journey at Marcellin College from 1974 to 1980. Mark then attended The University of Auckland from 1986 to 1987, where they studied Computer Science.
