William Campbell has worked in the field of user experience design since 2010. William's career began at Orion Health, where they worked as a UX Designer. In this role, they worked closely with product stakeholders and development teams to design products for clinicians in hospitals. William conducted interviews and observations, then presented insights to stakeholders to advocate for product changes. William also created wireframes, interactive prototypes and visual designs. In 2018, William moved to Vodafone, where they took on the role of Senior UX Designer. In 2019, they joined Actionstep, where they currently serve as Head of Design and User Experience Lead. In this role, they seek to closely understand users and their needs. William plans and conducts user research around the world, synthesises insights and presents them to stakeholders to inform product direction. William also leads design sprints and workshops that help turn insights into solutions, and creates rapid prototypes to test and iterate these with users.
William Campbell attended Rotorua Boys High from an unspecified time until 2006. William then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc (Hons)) in Computer Science and William'story at The University of Waikato, graduating in 2010. In June of 2020, they obtained a certification as an Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator from IBM.
