Caroline Mancel is the Deputy Director General of Actiris, the employment agency for the Brussels region, where they have worked since 2014. Previously, they served as Advisor for Research and Innovation for Minister Céline Fremault and held the role of Deputy Delegate at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU. Caroline’s extensive experience includes leading the Multilateral Relations Unit for the Brussels-Capital Region and coordinating research initiatives during Belgium’s EU Presidency in 2010. They hold two Master's degrees, one in European Studies from Exeter University and another in Public Management from ULB-École de Commerce Solvay, along with a degree in Translation. Currently, Caroline also serves as Président of the Réseau International des Cités des Métiers and Chair of the European Public Employment Services Network.
