Wim Smet

Wim Smet has extensive experience in policy advisory roles in various governmental and organizational settings. Notably, Smet served as a Policy Advisor for the Brussels State Secretary Pascal Smet from November 2019 to August 2023 and is currently an Advisor at Ans Persoons within the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region. Additional experience includes positions at the Belgian Senate, Brussels Parliament, and the Flemish Government, as well as serving as a Government Commissioner at Actiris. Smet has also contributed as a Board Member for both Community Land Trust Brussels and impulse.brussels. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master in European Integration and Development from the Institute for European Studies at VUB.
