Koome Gikunda

Koome Gikunda serves as a Director at Actis, focusing on Emerging Markets Private Equity since October 2007. In addition, Koome is a Member of the Board of Directors at Aiglon College and has been a Board Member of the East Africa Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) since October 2017. Previous experience includes roles as an Investment Banking Associate and Analyst at JPMorgan from June 2003 to September 2006. Koome holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering - Industrial Engineering from Stanford University (1999-2003) and an MBA with Distinction from the University of Oxford (2006-2007). Educational background also includes attendance at Aiglon College and Starehe Boys Centre and School.
