Jon Watts is currently an Associate Data Engineer at Activate Care. Prior to this, they were a Highschool Math Teacher at Coding Temple from November 2015 to April 2021. There, they were responsible for assembly troubleshooting, updating tooling and fixtures and increasing assembly line quality and efficiency. Jon also created standardized times for all work that is completed, utilized to increase in line efficiency by 10%. Furthermore, they implemented in line quality checks after every assembly zone, contributing to lower defect rates and less rework time. Before their time at Volvo Construction Equipment, Jon Watts served as Deputy Chief Engineer in the United States Air Force from September 2011 to September 2014.
Jon Watts' educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jon continued their studies with a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the University of La Verne, followed by a Masters in Leadership and Management from the same school.
