Leanne Hicks

Leanne Hicks has extensive experience in student support and safeguarding, currently serving as Head of Group Student Support and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Activate Learning since August 2006. Responsibilities include managing various support service functions such as careers guidance, employability, learner voice, and safeguarding across multiple colleges in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Surrey. Leanne has a proven track record of leading projects aimed at improving student retention and overcoming barriers to learning. Previous experience includes roles in direct sales management, recruitment, and customer service, alongside a strong educational background in business studies and learning development coordination.
