Louise Basu

Louise Basu is an accomplished HR professional currently serving as Chief People Officer and Group Director of People & Change at Activate Learning since February 2019. With a focus on enhancing the workplace experience for employees, Louise is a key member of the Group Executive Team at this innovative global education organization. Prior to this role, Louise held the position of HR Director at SHL, where talent innovation was a priority, and at Thomas International, where a strong emphasis on workplace engagement and culture was championed. Additional experience includes HR roles at LEO Pharma A/S, HSBC (HFC Bank), and recruitment consulting at Tay Associates and Angela Mortimer Group. Louise holds a BA Hons in French and Spanish from the University of Nottingham.
