Ruth Orrell-Harris

Ruth Orrell-Harris is an experienced equine education professional currently serving as Head of Equine, Faculty Manager, and Teacher Educator at Activate Learning since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Derby College as Teaching & Learning Mentor/Coach and HE & FE Programme Manager in Equine Science & Management, as well as a brief position as Chair Governor at Bennerley Fields School. Ruth contributed as a reporter for Eventing Worldwide, providing insights on equestrian topics. With over 15 years in the equine industry, Ruth has also held various positions including yard manager and competition groom. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham, as well as several specialized certificates in coaching, mentoring, and equine management.
