Aimee Rose

Aimee Rose is the executive managing director at Activate. Prior to their current position, Rose served as the chief technology officer at Advanced Functional Fabrics of America from June 2016 to August 2019. In this role, Rose was responsible for developing and executing domain-specific technology roadmaps for advanced fabric systems, vetting and overseeing a $10 million investment portfolio, and designing and delivering product development to a wide range of industries. Rose has also operationalized a national network of members to advance manufacturing readiness of advanced fabric systems, aligned stakeholder interests and created value among a diverse customer base, and built domestic supply chains for advanced fabric products through technology investment and oversight, IP management, and application and business development. Additionally, Rose has managed an internal technical and product development team, and developed and delivered technical collateral and communications.

Aimee Rose holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry from Saint Michael's College. Aimee also completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
