Erin Linebarger, Ph.D., is the CEO and co-founder of Robotics 88, where they develop autonomous drones for prescribed burn planning. With a strong background in localization and decision-making algorithms for autonomous vehicles, Erin previously served as a Robotics Research Scientist at Neya Systems and was the CEO of Ascend Autonomy, Inc., focusing on safe and ethical autonomous technology. They earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Utah, where they worked on algorithms for autonomous vehicle guidance and control. Currently, Erin is also an Activate Fellow, dedicated to launching startups that tackle climate change and other global challenges.
