Greis Kasofo

Fellowship Associate, Activate Boston at Activate

Greis Kasofo is a Program Associate at Activate, with experience in academic support and research. Prior to this role, Kasofo worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as an Academic Tutor at the Learning Resource Center, providing learning resources and creating supplementary material in collaboration with faculty. Additionally, Kasofo served as an Italian Transcriptionist and Translator for the Anthropology Department, transcribing and translating interviews for an ethnographic project. Earlier experience includes a position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the LIPS Lab, conducting experiments on optical-phonetic signal processing. Kasofo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 2019 and 2022.
