Jill Fuss

Jill Fuss is the managing director of Activate Berkeley, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they were a project lead at Cyclotron Road and Activate Fellowship from May 2018 to August 2020. Before that, Jill was the founder and CTO/COO of Cinder Biological, Inc. from January 2012 to September 2021. Jill began their career as a research scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from December 2001 to June 2022.

Jill Fuss received their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Jill also holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from Wesleyan University.
