Jonathan Kiel

Jonathan Kiel is an accomplished professional in the fields of chemical engineering and materials science, currently serving as a Friend/Helper on the NYC Selection Team at Activate since September 2023. In addition, Jonathan holds advisory roles with Anew Material and Cherry Lane Advisors, offering expertise in market analysis and operational consulting. Previous experience includes a position as Special Advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy, mentoring at Rutgers University, and significant leadership roles at Enzymetrics Bioscience as Co-Founder and Director. Jonathan's earlier career at Exponent involved managing research teams and providing scientific solutions in polymer science and materials chemistry. With a PhD from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, Jonathan is dedicated to advancing innovative solutions across various scientific domains.
