Ron Erd

Ron Erd is a seasoned advisor and consultant with extensive experience in growth strategies and business development, currently serving as an Advisor and Fractional Growth Executive at Unlocking Growth since February 2020. Erd is actively involved with multiple organizations, including Activate as an Advisor & Leadership Council member, Berkeley SkyDeck, and Plug and Play Tech Center, where mentorship is provided to startups in their growth journeys. Previous roles include mentoring at SOSV and Young Professionals in Energy, and consulting for Bloom Energy and DemandQ, focusing on market strategies and customer engagement. As the founder of Independence Bio Products, Erd established a clean tech company aimed at capturing carbon emissions from power plants. Erd holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
