Cat Dizon has a notable work experience spanning over 15 years. From 2004 to 2005, they served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Purchasing Officer at Spectrum Creations, LLP. From 2005 to 2017, they worked at Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company, in various roles such as Head of Business Operations/ Staff Operations, Cloud Office Practice Area, Director of Corporate Strategy & Development, Senior Manager of Cloud Product Operations, and Manager of Business Ops/ Business Process Manager. In 2017, they became Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Active Capital, a venture firm focused on leading seed rounds for B2B SaaS companies. In 2019, they joined the Board of Directors at Girls Inc. of San Antonio, and in 2020 they joined the Board of Directors at Geekdom, the Global Women in VC, and the Founding Committee Member of Women@Austin's Beam Angel Network. In 2023, they became a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Mind Science Foundation.

Cat Dizon attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Legal Studies. In 2012, they completed a General Management Certification from Texas Executive Education at the Texas McCombs School of Business.
