Matt Butson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Matt started their career in 2006 as an Assistant to M&E Coordinator at EllisDon. In 2006, they also worked as an Assistant to Acoustical and Vibrations Engineer at Integral DX Engineering Limited for a brief period. From 2008 onwards, Matt joined Active Dynamics Group where they held various roles. Matt started as an Applications Engineer and then progressed to become an Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering at Active Dynamics Group.
Matt Butson has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Matt is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Northwestern University and the Schulich School of Business - York University, with an expected completion date in 2023. Additionally, they hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario, obtained in 2014.
