Mark Chekos is currently an account executive at Active Guardian. Mark has also held positions at Alets-IoT Gunshot Detection Systems, EMC Security, DataDot Technology, and Vicon Industries. In each of these positions, Mark has excelled at sales and business development.
Mark began their career in 1980 as a vice president and regional sales manager at Honeywell. Mark quickly rose through the ranks to become the director of commercial sales in 2004. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Honeywell brand and increasing sales. In 2007, they left Honeywell to join Vicon Industries as the director of national accounts. At Vicon, they increased sales by developing new markets and expanding existing ones.
In 2015, Mark joined DataDot Technology as the vice president of sales. In this role, they were responsible for increasing sales of the company's microdot asset protection security systems. Mark was successful in this role, and in 2016 they joined EMC Security as the sales manager. At EMC, they increased sales of the company's Honeywell UL CSAA 5 Diamond CS products.
In 2018, Mark left EMC to join Alets-IoT Gunshot Detection Systems as the vice president of sales. In this role, they were responsible for increasing sales of the company's Actionable Law Enforcement Technology Software products. Mark was successful in this role, and in July 2018 they returned to Active Guardian as an account executive.
Mark Chekos has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Nova Southeastern University in Business Administration and Management, General. Mark also has an undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management.
