Alyssa Kovalchick

Alyssa Kovalchick is a dedicated Biochemistry student at Temple University, enrolled in the College of Science and Technology and the Honors Program. Currently, Alyssa serves as the Vice President of Engagement for Active Minds, where they orchestrate meetings and manage a team. As a Research Assistant in Dr. Michael Zdilla's laboratory, Alyssa employs air-sensitive techniques for synthesizing inorganic molecules and participates actively in project discussions. Additionally, Alyssa is a classroom assistant and tutor, helping peers excel in chemistry and biology. Following their undergraduate studies, Alyssa plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry, focusing on sustainable and renewable energy sources.
