Mark Ormerod

Mark Ormerod is a dedicated leader in the promotion of movement, physical activity, and sport, currently serving as the CEO of Leap_BMK since 2012. They have played significant roles in various organizations, including as Chair of Trustees and Honorary Vice President at SportsAid Eastern, where they worked to support aspiring athletes across the East of England. Mark also contributes as Chair of the National Policy Group for Active Partnerships and serves as a Senior Independent Director at the Blues Foundation. Their extensive prior experience includes positions at Sport England, where they focused on strategy development and talent identification, as well as a consultancy role for sports research. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Sport & Recreation Management from The University of Sheffield and a degree in Business & Finance from the University of Wales.
