(ASCI) was founded in 1981 in Hoboken, New Jersey, as a software engineering and consulting company specializing in the development of Strategic System Software Management Solutions. ASCI has developed numerous solutions over the years such as XLNT, RemoteSHADOW, ActiveBatch, and more. With an initial focus on thedevelopment of "Mission Critical Applications", ASCI introduced INTACT® for high-performance transaction processing, which was subsequently licensed to HP (then Digital Equipment Corporation).
