Cameron Brand

Cameron Brand has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and development. From 2017 to the present, they have worked at ActiveCampaign, initially as a Front End Developer and later transitioning to a Software Engineer position. Prior to this, they worked at iris Worldwide as a Creative Technologist from 2016 to 2017.

In 2013, Cameron held two positions simultaneously. Cameron worked at Plural as a Front End Developer and Creative Technologist, collaborating with a small group of designers to develop WordPress-based websites and consult on usability during design phases. At the University of Illinois at Chicago, they worked as a New Media Arts Instructional Lab Specialist, managing and maintaining electronics and maker space equipment for student use, providing in-class support to professors and assisting students with class projects.

From 2012 to 2013, Cameron worked at Thirst as a Developer, generating websites based on ExpressionEngine and contributing to various interactive installations and soundtracks.

Earlier in their career, they held managerial roles at Dusty Groove, Inc from 2007 to 2010, and worked as a Prepress Operator at The Mallard Press from 2000 to 2006.

Cameron Brand attended the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in New Media Arts.
