Evan Willhite

Evan Willhite has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Evan is currently working as a Senior Frontend Engineer in Design Systems at ActiveCampaign since April 2021. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, they worked at Four Kitchens as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where they served as the Project Lead on the Emulsify Design System, led frontend contracting projects for Fortune 100 companies, and acted as the Lead Frontend Engineer for multiple projects at a top 5 U.S. university.

Before that, they worked at CentreSource from 2012 to 2016 as a Senior Developer, where they were the Team Lead for Drupal development, created Drupal base features and profiles, and contributed as a Frontend Developer for various projects.

From 2007 to 2012, Evan worked at MCN Interactive, initially as a User Experience Director and then as a Front End Developer. In these roles, they led the development and strategy for several high-profile websites, including DigitalRodeo.com, LadyAntebellum.com (Webby nominated), and Social2 Community product. Evan also played a key role in developing websites for DollyParton.com, BradPaisley.com, and worked on internal development projects.

Prior to that, Evan worked as a Sales Support Coordinator at Servpro Industries, Inc from 2006 to 2007, and as a Research Assistant at Wake Forest University in 2004.

Evan Willhite obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from Carson-Newman University, where they studied between 1997 and 2001. Afterward, they pursued further education at Wake Forest University from 2003 to 2006, earning a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree in Humanities.
