Leia Marshall

Leia Marshall has extensive work experience in the field of people management and HR. Starting from 2007, they worked as a Legal Assistant at Ghitterman Ghitterman & Feld. From 2009 to 2012, they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota. Leia then joined Thumbtack, where they held multiple roles, including People Systems Specialist and Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO. Afterward, they worked at IFTTT as the People Operations Manager and later as the Head of People. Leia then moved on to Good Eggs, where they served as the Head of People Operations. At Organization Organizers (OrgOrg), they worked as an Advisor until its acquisition by OfficeNinjas in 2019. Leia also served as the Head of People at Netlify, overseeing significant team growth. Most recently, they joined Wildbit as the Head of People before the company was acquired by ActiveCampaign, where they currently hold the position of Head of People for the Postmark team. Additionally, Leia has been an Advisor at PeopleTech Partners since 2019, providing guidance to various portfolio companies.

Leia Marshall has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara. Leia also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Minnesota. In addition to their academic qualifications, Leia has obtained several certifications including Results Certified Coach (RCC) from the NeuroLeadership Institute in August 2020, Good Authority Manager Training from Refound in January 2018, Radical Candor Feedback Training from Radical Candor, LLC in October 2015, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in August 2018.
