Denis Laskov serves as the Vice President of Android Malware Research at ActiveFence since September 2025, managing teams across security research, development, automation, data science, and training, while driving strategy and revenue growth. Additionally, Denis has been a member of the Program Committee at Botconf since January 2012, actively reviewing and selecting innovative papers in cybersecurity. Prior experience includes leading the Offensive Security Group at EY, overseeing product security at Mercedes-Benz AG as Global Head of Product (Fleet) Security and as Security Research Team Lead, and working as a Senior Malware Researcher at IBM. Denis's earlier roles include managing digital security at the Israel Diamond Exchange and serving as a Security Specialist in the Israel Defense Forces. Denis holds multiple certifications in computer science and management, along with degrees from Hadassah College and Omsk State Pedagogical University.
