Robert D. currently serves as the Head of Violent Extremism - Tech and Head of Domestic Extremism at ActiveFence, alongside leading a team focused on Hate Speech & Misinformation in Violent Extremism since May 2021. Prior experience includes a role at Syracuse University - Maxwell School from June 2018 to August 2021, where Robert engaged in Data Curation & Qualitative Research Verification at the Center for Qualitative and Multi-Method Inquiry and Qualitative Data Repository. Between August 2015 and May 2018, Robert contributed to the Future Professoriate Program as a Teaching Associate and as a Teaching Assistant in various subjects related to International Relations. Earlier, Robert managed projects for France and the BeNeLux region at the St. Gallen Symposium from September 2008 to June 2009. Robert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - ABD in International Relations & Comparative Politics and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government from Reichman University and additional education from the University of St. Gallen.
