What is ActiveNation?

ActiveNation is a Richmond, Virginia based interactive design firm specializing in brand-based web marketing solutions. Since 1996, ActiveNation has been a pioneer in the integration of creative design and web technology to build effective yet innovative Internet solutions. As a result, our web solutions not only work but they enhance our clients' image and value proposition.

Using the basic components of standard web development, ActiveNation develops functional and appealing websites for corporations, small businesses or individuals seeking a web presence. ActiveNation has the ability to build fully accessible websites, which are Section 508 compliant, that cater to the needs of people with disabilites. Using web standards recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), ActiveNation reduces costs associated with design and bandwidth while enabling your website to reach more people. Using scripting languages such as ASP and PHP, ActiveNation can develop database-driven websites that facilitate clients' needs including e-commerce sites and content-management integration.

At ActiveNation, we believe anyone can build a website. But to innovate an online presence that adheres to the principles of strategic branding and marketing requires trained professionals. Our staff is made up of experienced designers, developers, project managers and Internet strategists.
