Gary Hill has worked in the IT field for over 25 years. Gary began their career in 1993 as a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. In 1996, they joined ActiveNav as a Senior Developer, where they developed information discovery solutions that facilitated navigation through large collections of information, automatic categorisation, and metadata extraction.
Gary Hill obtained a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Southampton in 1990 and a PhD in Distributed Hypermedia from the same university in 1994.
