Chris Snyder

Chris Snyder has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Chris is currently the Director of Data Science at ActiveProspect, a position they started in 2022. Before joining ActiveProspect, Chris worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Shopify from 2021 to 2022.

Prior to that, Chris held various roles at Jornaya. Chris was a Manager of Data Science from 2019 to 2021 and was responsible for creating and developing data products. Chris also served as the Technical Lead for the data science team, where they advanced the technical infrastructure and developed internal tools to simplify usage of the tech stack. Chris initially joined Jornaya as a Data Scientist in 2015.

Chris also has experience working at QVC, where they served as a Senior Digital Analyst from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they built and developed data infrastructure, created reporting processes, and performed analyses on customer website behavior. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at QVC from 2012 to 2014, where they drove data mining and modeling efforts for various projects.

In addition to their industry experience, Chris has also worked as an Adjunct Statistics Faculty at West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Chris also gained experience as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Census Bureau from 2011 to 2012.

Chris's early career includes a role as a Graduate Assistant at Temple University from 2008 to 2011, where they taught statistics and calculus courses. Chris also worked as a Budget Analyst at Yellow Book USA INC from 2007 to 2008, where they reconciled financial systems and prepared reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Chris Snyder obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from Bucknell University from 2000 to 2004. Chris later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics from the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2008 to 2012. In June 2017, they obtained the Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
