Dave Blizard is a two-time Emmy Award-winning Senior Lighting Director at Activision, known for pioneering the intersection of engineering and art in the gaming industry. With a rich background that includes roles at Sledgehammer Games, Infinity Ward, and Electronic Arts, they have specialized in physically based real-time rendering and lighting design for AAA video games and visual effects. As a founder of Casa Xixim, they also promote sustainable tourism through a net-neutral beachfront retreat. Dave's earlier work includes contributions to renowned films and commercials as a lighting supervisor and CG artist at PDI/DreamWorks and Gotham Digital, among others.
