Mark McClain has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Mark has a proven track record of success in driving growth and market expansion for software companies. Mark has a deep understanding of the enterprise software market and the needs of customers. Mark is a strategic thinker and an effective communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Mark McClain founded Waveset Technologies in 2000 and served as its President and CEO until 2003. Under Mark’s leadership, Waveset grew to become a leading provider of identity management solutions with customers such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Bank of America, and the U.S. Department of Defense.

In 1995, Mark joined IBM Tivoli Software as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution for Tivoli’s portfolio of systems management products. During their tenure at IBM, Mark helped grow the Tivoli business from $250 million to $1.5 billion.

Prior to IBM, Mark held various marketing and product management positions at Stratus Computer, Inc., a leading provider of fault-tolerant computer systems, and at Conner Peripherals, Inc., a manufacturer of disk drives and other computer peripherals.

Mark McClain holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Mark McClain has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Point Loma Nazarene University.
