Deon Botha is a seasoned manufacturing manager with extensive experience in the engineering sector. Starting an apprenticeship at Transnet in 1988, Deon qualified as an Electrician Armature Winder in 1994 and progressed through various supervisory roles over the years. At Gibela Rail, Deon served as EPU Manager, leading the production of AC motors for South Africa's new people’s train project. Currently, Deon is the Production Manager at ACTOM, overseeing the coil shop and wire drawing operations while continuing to pursue qualifications in engineering and ISO standards. Deon enjoys embracing new challenges and values the diversity of different company cultures.
